Absolutely. We have a limited number of appointments available, so reserving your spot is required. We also recommend the sooner the better as we do expect to be fully booked.
How long will hair and make-up take?
Your hair and make-up will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Your full appointment time will include an hour and a half for your full time with us from the start of hair and make-up until the end of shooting time. We recommend arriving approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
What is The Creative Chateau?
The Creative Chateau is the beautiful French Chateau where Hey Lovely's and Smith House Photo's offices are located. You can see more of the space on Instagram at @thecreativechateautx. Many of the above 'Recent Headshots' were also taken at the Chateau.
Where is The Creative Chateau?
The Creative Chateau is located on the border of the Galleria area and Tanglewood at 6104 San Felipe. There is parking in the front and back of the Chateau. There is also street parking available on our perpendicular street, Potomac.
How many headshots will I receive?
We will deliver a minimum of 8-10 high resolution headshots delivered in an online gallery. Your gallery will be available to view and download within 14 days of your headshot session.
Do I need to bring anything?
NEED to? Not at all. WANT to? Sure! We love a classic headshot, but also encourage you to bring items that may reflect your personality or your business to utilize during the shoot. For instance; if you are a Starbucks addict, bring your favorite beverage. If you never leave home without your planner and computer, they should come on this day as well. If you sell a product, bring one along.
What should I wear?
Our best advice is to keep it simple and keep it YOU. Think about where you will use your headshots (Linkedin, Social Media, Website, Etc.) and decide what colors will flow best with the other content you have there. We always recommend neutrals (whites, grays, blues, and blushes) as they are cohesive with so many other colors and are absolutely timeless. We recommend avoiding bright reds and neons as the color tends to reflect on your face in an unflattering way when the light hits it. And one last tip: you can never be overdressed. If you are a jeans kind of gal, go for it. But don't be afraid to step into your favorite blazer or dressiest dress and throw on a pair of heels.
