frequently asked questions

How do I access the class?
We are partnering with Zoom to bring our classes directly to you! Once you sign up, you will get your fun syllabus via email with the full breakdown!

When and how long are the classes?
Live classes will be on Tuesdays starting October 8th and will last approximately 1 hour. There will be a replay available for anyone who is not able to attend during the live viewing time.

When is the last day to sign up?
Sign-ups for the course will end on Tuesday, October 1st.

Do I have to download a specific program to access your class?
Yes! All classes will be on Zoom—make your profile and download the program to get all the access you need. Zoom is also available as an app on your iPhone.

I have a lot going on right now! Can I get a refund?
We understand life can get busy, but we are unable to offer refunds after you register for the course. Luckily you will have the replays available to you for one year after the course ends, so you can take the class whenever you have more time.

Are we able to rewatch sessions after or are they only available live?
You can save the session directly from your Zoom profile and rewatch as many times as you’d like!

Do I have to purchase a certain camera to take the class?
We recommend investing in a DSLR for the course, but you can do most of the assignments with the Manual app on your iPhone. We recommend this camera and this lens for beginners. If you want to skip the starter camera and lens and go straight to something that will grow with you for many years to come, we recommend this camera and this lens

Help! I made a Zoom profile and I still can’t access the class!
No worries at all, email DEVELOPCOURSE@smithhouse and we will help sort any issues at our earliest!
